The Emerging Enterprise Center required participants to submit a 5-page business plan and a pitch showcasing their company. Submissions were received from a wide range of businesses and judged by a jury composed of judges from business leaders from the business community. Judging was based on multiple criteria, including clarity of message, value proposition, clear go to market strategy, and pitching skills. The finalists were contacted and announced on Friday, October 4.
